Aglaonema Classics - Classic Aglaonema - Aglaonemas were first cultivated by the Chinese and were commonly called Chinese Evergreen. They were originally found in the tropical areas of Southeast Asia, and then eventually made their way to Europe and North America. Some species, like the Maria ( Emerald Beauty ), were originally collected in the wild from the forests of the Philippines. Other varieties, like Silver Bay and BJ Freeman, were hybridized and then released to the commercial market as well as to collectors. Today Agloanemas have become one of the most versatile and widely used plants for interior application. Maria - Maria also called Emerald Beauty, an original that still remains very popular today. Compact plant with dark green leaves and silver markings. Simplex - Simply green, an old school variety revisited. A great interior plant, highly recommended because it performs extremely well in very low light conditions. Silver Bay - Proven product that continues to hold its place in the market. Large broad silver leaves with contrasting tones of silver and green on the edges. BJ Freeman - Also known as Gabriella or Cecilia. Large broad matte finish leaves. Can be described as having a gray green pewter look with darker green markings.

Aglaonema Colored - Colored Aglaonema - www.CapriFarms.com Aglaonema Colored Colored aglaonemas have long been thought of as a collector’s item but have recently gotten very popular commercially. Overall a more challenging plant to grow and maintain but the bright colors are definitely worth the trouble. New colored varieties that perform great in low light applications are now available. Aglaonemas can now be used in color rotations or just to spice up a design. Slow growing also means longer life on the jobs. Candy Cane - Light green leaves that have lighter magenta edges and midrib. Stems are candy cane pink. Firecracker - Darkest and deepest magenta or fuchsia of our collection. Small upright leaves with pink stems. Spring Snow - Bright white and waxy leaves with green specks. Grows very full with much suckering. Etta Rose - Wide leaves, very similar to Spring Snow with a yellow and pink to red hue. Golden Passion - Small green leaves with dominant red midrib and yellow/pink stripes. Pink stems also add to the color, grows extra full. Pink Passion - Wide oval shape leaves, dark green with lighter greenish yellow markings featuring a red midrib. Sapphire Suzanne - Jazzed Gem Series. Medium solid green upright leaves with bright red edges. Sparkling Sarah - Jazzed Gem Series. Wide green leaves with red midrib and splashes of pink and yellow.

Aglaonema Elite Series The Elite Aglaonemas is a proven product that maintains a high standard amongst plantscape professionals. Capri Farms has managed to build quite a reputation for growing and producing the Elites. We are the largest producer in the United States for the interior market. You will find the quality and specifications to be consistent throughout the year. The Elite Aglaonemas are a group of hybrids that were specifically bred for commercial application. In order to create such a unique collection, breeders conducted years of research and development, testing and careful evaluations, guided by specific characteristics that make up the ideal interior plant. Characteristics that would include: Cold Tolerance - Tolerating lower temperature would allow safer transportation and on the job performance. Low Light Application - A plant that can tolerate lower light conditions is an essential characteristic that is desirable to all great interiorscape plants. Suckering - Plants that have a tendency to produce offshoots from the main stock will ultimately guarantee a fuller lush look to the finished product. Strong Roots - A healthy strong root system that is not too overly aggressive creates a balanced mix of roots and soil media allowing sufficient moisture and air retention. Insect & Disease Resistance - Certain species have proven to be more resistant to insect and diseases than others. This was a determining factor in the evaluation process. Leaf Size & Shape - Size and shape definitely determine the look and character of the individual plants. A creative dimension for interiorscapers to consider. Long & tall .... Black Lance Broad & wide .... Brilliance and Peacock Smaller & classic ... Mary Ann, Jubilee, Green Lady, Indo Queen and White Rain. Color & Texture - Color and texture, perhaps two of the most important elements that influence successful design.

Aglaonema Elite … For years, the strength and durability of the Elites has been tested. Longevity and repeat orders has been the measuring stick to judge its success. The Elites represent a diverse pallet featuring color, texture, leaf size and shape, providing designers with the choices to create plantscaping masterpieces. Mary Ann - Green contrast against a lighter matte silver green tone. Most similar to the Maria (Emerald Beauty). White Rain - Silver and green with white margin. Smaller leaf white stem variety that stays full and compact. Jubilee - Dominantly silver with very dark blackish green edge. The original substitute for Silver Queen. Brilliant - Leaves are bright yellow and green with speckling of white. Large broad leaf variety. Green Lady - Dark green leaves with silver highlights. Favorite choice amongst interior plantscapers. Peacock - Large upright light silver leaves, spotted with darker green markings, white midrib and a hint of yellow. Indo Queen - Recently introduced, a dead ringer for Silver Queen but more cold tolerant. Black Lance - Unique upright tall elongated leaves 12” to 20” long, with silver center and dark blackish green edges.
